Lego Group, the world's fifth largest toy manufacturer, has announced a new logistics strategy that will expand its implementation of the CHEP blue pallet pooling system.
The changes will see the company phasing out its usage of the white pallet exchange, which Lego views as being difficult to manage and containing many hidden costs, such as the purchase of new pallets.
Bo H Kristensen, Lego Group Logistics Consultant for Europe and Asia, said, "We are confident that CHEP offers a more efficient and cost effective solution."
