The 4 angles of a palette can be rights (one speaks then about palette to square corners).

The interest of the cutting of angles is:
- to protect the plastic covers because they tend to tear when the angle is too lively (90 °)
- to facilitate the transport of palettes by limiting hang on them on angles.

The good length of the bevel (L) goes from 15 to 30 mm ( minimum 10 mm). The angle of cutting is 45 °.

The cutting of the angles of the palette takes place when this one was completely gone up.

One cuts at the same moment the parts of the top deck, of the stringerboard, the block, and the bottom deck. 4 corners are cut by machines after location and immobilization of the palette.

There are as well the blocks that were cut before (wooden agglomerated blocks), these last ones are cut in all the angles, what allows in more a guide of the forks of the wagon at the time of the penetration. These blocks do not prevent the operation of cutting of angles of all the parts at the same moment ( top deck, stringerboard and bottom deck)
